Following on from the success of Fleadh 2014, it is expected that there will be a greater number of people who will want to stay in the Sligo area for Fleadh 2015 which will take place from 9 – 16 August 2015. Consequently, it is expected that there will again be a demand for private accommodation to supplement hotels, B&Bs etc in the area.
Responding to the accommodation need is one of the ways we as a community can embrace the Fleadh and enhance our welcome to the many visitors. The Fleadh Team wishes to thank all who provided accommodation for Fleadh 2014 and hopes that you and others can again provide such accommodation in 2015. We as a community can make a great contribution to the Fleadh by renting rooms at reasonable prices over the period of the festival – our guideline prices are given below.
As in 2014, the Fleadh Team will compile a register of available accommodation for publication on this website. If you have accommodation space that you can make available, please advise us now by completing the details below online. The accommodation can be one room or several rooms ( with or without breakfast ), a whole house, an apartment etc. and your offer can be for one night or for several nights.
As a contribution to Fleadh costs, a non-refundable fee of €10 per bedroom applies to each room which you apply to register. In the event that you wish to register more than one property, a separate registration application is required for each property.
The Fleadh Team will carry out an inspection process and, if the accommodation is of acceptable standard ( see copies of our checklists below ), it will be included in a list of available accommodation with the relevant contact details on the Fleadh website and available to potential guests and site users.
Those looking for accommodation, by using the website or contacting the Fleadh office, will be directed to the accommodation list from which they can then select accommodation options and pursue directly the renting of accommodation through the contact details published. All the arrangements are directly between the person seeking the accommodation and the accommodation provider – the Fleadh Team simply provides the accommodation list to enable the parties make contact and pursue an agreement. The Fleadh cannot guarantee actual take-up of any accommodation listed on its website.
VERY IMPORTANT: When you have arranged a booking or wish to make other changes, please ring the Fleadh office to remove your details from the accommodation list or to make changes to it.
